M-25 Shoreline Restoration Project

LOCATION: M-25 south of French Line Road, Sanilac County

M&M Excavating is leading a quarter-mile shoreline rehabilitation project along M-25, focusing on slope stabilization and protection along the Lake Huron shoreline. The work involves placing large armor stone and heavy riprap, supported by sheeting and turbidity curtains to minimize sediment disturbance in the water. This approach allows for safe dewatering and installation of toe stones to prevent future erosion. Additional project elements include drainage improvements, guardrail upgrades, and pavement markings to enhance both safety and resilience in the area.
